Ingredients
  • 1 pk yellow butter cake mix.
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 4 lg eggs
  • Peanut Butter Frosting:
  • 3 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • Frosting: Cream together peanut butter and butter until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar. Slowly add milk until frosting is at disired spreading consisitency.

Directions

  2. Preheat oven to 325° Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or 9 x13 sheet pan.
  3. Cream together peanut butter and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each one. Add cake mix alternately with water: stiring until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow cake to cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn out of pan to cool completely. Frost when cool.
