Mad Scientist Pizza Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 tsp. cornstarch

1-14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained

14 slices Velveeta

4 English Muffins, split

Directions

Preheat oven to broil

In skillet, brown hamburger and onion until meat is no longer pink

Sprinkle in cornstarch

Stir in tomatoes

Cook, uncovered until slightly thickened

Add 6 slices of cheese and stir until cheese is melted

Put buns on baking sheet and spoon hamburg mixture onto each muffin half

Put remaining cheese over top of meat mixture

Broil until cheese melts
