EASY SOUTHERN BISCUITS
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Greene Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1991.

I am pretty good making the bread. I am one with the bread making. But biscuits elude me. I do not know what it is. I have tried many recipes. I am an absoluite failure with biscuits. This one is different. i will give it a try and let you know. Thank you so much for posting it. You have my Five!

My mom always said every southern lady should know how to make biscuits. I'm pretty good at it but this recipe sounds wonderful. Gotta try it. Thanks for sharing. :)

So different than what I was taught many moons ago, but I can see how this would work. Magic stuff, baking mix and soda!

Hi there,
I will surely try this one. I might even have a can of 7-Up around, which would be nice!
You'll have to write me and tell me how these come out...what differences you've noticed in this recipe.
I found a recipe like this in Paula Deen's cookbook. If you're interested what the title of the book is I'll have to look once I get home.
