How to make it

  • Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add garam masala, cumin, mustard seeds, and turmeric. Stir 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add onion, ginger, and garlic. Cook stirring often for about 2 minutes, until onion starts to soften.
  • Add the red and green peppers and the chiles. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Increase heat to medium-high. Add chicken, and cook until it begins to brown.
  • Add tomatoes and cilantro. Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through, stirring frequently.
  • Serve hot with basmati rice and naan bread. Yum!!
