From micuisine 15 years agoIngredients
- 1 16-oz. package hot-roll mix shopping list
- 4 ozs. ham, thinly-sliced, cut into strips shopping list
- 4 ozs. pepperoni, thinly-sliced, cut into strips shopping list
- 1 cup ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1 cup mozzarella, shredded shopping list
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1/3 cup green onion, thinly-sliced (Leave off if the kids don't like it.) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare hot-roll mix through the kneading step according to the basic recipe on package directions. Cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
- For the filling, in a large bowl mix together the ham, pepperoni, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Monterey Jack cheese, green onion and pepper. Set aside.
- Grease a large baking sheet. Set aside.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 12 X 9 inch rectangle. Spread the filling length-wise down the center of the rectangle in a 4-inch-wide strip. Fold long sides of the dough over the filling. Moisten the edges with water. Pinch to seal.
- Place loaf seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. With a very sharp knife, cut 1 1/2 inch slits in the top for the steam to escape. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
- Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes. Slice with a serrated knife into 8 pieces.
