I made this for Easter for the kids and they adored them!

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon milk
Directions
- Whisk first 3 ingredients in a small bowl
- In another large bowl add butter,sugar,egg,vanilla and milk
- Rub them into smooth paste
- Add flour mixture to the large bowl and mix good
- Divide dough into 2 balls
- Roll out one into rectangle on a floured parchment paper
- The other color it and roll out the same
- (to color the dough you can add 2 drops of any food colorings or add 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup and a tablespoon of flour)
- Lay the colored rectangle on top of the non colored
- Roll them up tight in a sausage like shape
- Slice,finger width apart
- Bake at 350F on parchment paper for 12-15min till the bottom of the cookie is golden.
