Ingredients

How to make it

  • Find two flat bowls to roll the breasts into the wet and dry applications. Spray a shallow baking dish to hold the six pieces of chicken. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Wet bowl: Beat egg, season with salt and pepper, and 1 tsp. garlic powder.
  • Dry bowl: Combine bread crumbs , 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and parmesan.
  • Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then roll in the crumbs. Arrange the pieces in single layer in large shallow baking dish. Melt butter in microwave or on stove. Stir in the last 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, the lemon juice and the parsley. Pour half the butter sauce over the chicken and bake at 375 F 25 - 30 minutes, covered. Remove from oven, sprinkle with mushrooms and pour the rest of the butter sauce over. Return to oven and bake 5 to 10 minutes more without the cover, and it will brown. Garnish with parsley. Six servings. Enjoy!

Great idea. A great way to use seasonings and bread crumbs to create a chicken dish that's a little unusual and (it sounds) very flavorful.
