How to make it

  • Make a crumbly muerbeteig dough from the flour ,butter, sugar and egg.
  • Press dough into a springform pan.
  • Drain peaches, arrange fruit over the dough
  • Add drained juice to the wine and bring to a boil
  • Stir in the pudding powder and mix well
  • Place the hot mixture over the peaches
  • Bake cake 175 C, 35 to 40 minutes
  • Meanwhile beat egg whites stiff
  • Beat yolks with the sugar
  • Stir in the sour cream into yolk mixture
  • Blend in the egg whites
  • Spread this mixture over the cake and bake for 15 minutes more
  • Allow cake to cool after baking
  • Then let cake stand overnight for best and easy slicing
