How to make it

  • Heat a griddle slowly while mixing the batter. Beat the egg well and then beat in the buttermilk and 1/2 tsp. baking soda. Beat in flour and remaining ingredients with a mixer until smooth. Cook until golden brown. Makes about 16 pancakes.
