Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Grease & flour 2 9" layer pans (I also lined bottom with parchment paper)
  • Cream butter and sugar together till fluffy
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
  • Add mashed bananas, mixing thoroughly
  • Sift dry ingredients together and then stir into butter/egg mixture alternating with milk mixture
  • Add vanilla and mix for 1 minute
  • Add nuts and raisins to incorporate
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean from center of pans
  • Cool in pans on rack for 10 minutes
  • Unmold and cool for 2 hours
  • Frost cake with your favorite white frosting,
