How to make it

  • MARINADE
  • Whisk together marinade ingredients in a large bowl and set aside
  • Slice steak against thhe grain into 1/4 inch strips
  • Place meat in large ziploc baggie and pour marinade over (resrve 1/4 c marindae for basting)
  • Work bag with hands to coat meat with marinade.
  • Place in fridge for an hour
  • SKEWERS
  • Preheat grill to medium high heat
  • Divide marinated steak strips evenly amoung four metal skewers, folding each strip accordian style, then spearing strips through their centers
  • Alternate stek strips with blue cheese stuffed olives and pickled onions, and spread strips out along length of each skewer
  • Grill covered, over direct heat, for 2 minutes
  • Turn, baste with remaining marinade and grill 2 minutes more
