How to make it

  • Slice calamansi into two and squeeze to get the juice
  • Combine the calamansi or lemon juice and the soy sauce (add more calamansi Juice if needed to give it a salty-sour taste)
  • add salt and pepper to the marinde
  • Marinade pork chops for 30 minutes
  • Sauté garlic and onions set aside
  • Fry pork chops in cooking oil until light brown
  • Put pork back in the saucepan and add the marinade combination
  • Add water
  • Simmer until Pork is tender
  • Remove from heat and add the onions
  • Serve with fried rice or plain steam rice

    I'm sorry. Calamansi is Philippine lemon. you can actually use lemons for the recipe.
