How to make it

  • Heat a deep skillet
  • add oil , butter and garlic
  • add rice
  • cook on low-medium , stirring , until heated through
  • add prepared onion, parsley, and chile
  • lightly saute
  • adding broth wine and beer slowly while sauteing
  • add shrimp stirring until light pink no longer than 3 minutes
  • season with kosher salt and pepper mill mixed peppercorns
  • Serve really sizzling on a platter warmed in oven and garnish with fresh just-rinsed parsley

    Hi Vickie- I made this last night I liked it -I think I made too much rice though,it kind of over powered the dish-next time I will use less rice
