Grilled Tarragon Tuna Salad

- 1/2 cup light vinaigrette or Italian salad dressing shopping list
- 1 tsp. fresh shredded tarragon shopping list
- 4 (6 oz. each) fresh tuna steaks, cut 1/2 -inch to 3/4-inch thick shopping list
- 8 cups (8 oz.) salad greens shopping list
- 1 cup tomatoes (teardrop, grape or cherry) shopping list
- 1/2 cup yellow bell pepper strips shopping list
- 1-3/4 cups (7 oz.) Shredded Mozzarella & asiago cheese with roasted garlic, divided shopping list
How to make it
- Combine salad dressing and tarragon. Spoon 2 tablespoons dressing over tuna steaks
- Grill over medium-high coals 2 minutes per side, or until tuna is seared on the outside, but still very pink in center (do not overcook or tuna will be tough).
- Combine salad greens, tomatoes, bell pepper strips and 1 cup cheese in large bowl.
- Add remaining dressing mixture; toss well.
- Transfer to serving plates; top with tuna and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Serve with pepper.
