BACON CHEESEBURGER PASTA This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brimley Estate in Garland, Texas in 1999.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces uncooked tube or spiral pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 strips bacon diced
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup undiluted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Barbecue sauce and prepared mustard optional

Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink then drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet cook bacon until crisp then remove with a slotted spoon to paper towels.
  4. Discard drippings then drain pasta and add to the skillet.
  5. Add soup, beef and bacon then heat through.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese then cover and cook until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve with barbecue sauce and mustard if desired.
