How to make it

  • Cut flank steak into 2" X 2" X 1/4" slices.
  • Pound both sides of steaks with a mallet.
  • Marinate for 2-4 hours.
  • Heat oil in a hot skillet over high heat.
  • Brown beef for 1 min. on each side.
  • Remove from pan, reserving oil in skillet.
  • Combine ingredients for steak sauce in a small bowl.
  • Add onion to skillet and saute over high heat until light brown.
  • Add steak sauce, stirring to blend well.
  • Return browned beef to skillet and coat with sauce.
  • Arrange on plate and serve immediately.
