Ingredients
  • 4 lb. chicken [cut into 8 pcs. ]
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1tsp. celery seed
  • 11/2 cup flour
  • 11/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 11/2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 cans of chicken broth

Directions
  1. Dredge chicken in flour, salt, and paprika mixture
  2. Brown in butter, setting skillet drippings aside
  3. Sift flour, baking powder and salt
  4. Blend in eggs, milk and melted butter
  5. Mix all ingredients, batter will be lumpy
  6. Pour batter into a grease 8 by 13 pan
  7. Arrange browned chicken in batter
  8. Sprinkle all over with celery seed
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour
  10. SAUCE: Measure drippings from skillet. Add butter if needed to make 5 tbsp. Stir in 5 tbsp. flour , brown. Add 2 cans chicken broth. Mix and simmer for five minutes .Serve with chicken.
  11. Enjoy!!

Oh, this sounds delicious! I love the gravy too! So you get your chicken, biscuits and gravy, all in one dish! I'll have to try this!
