Southwestern Turkey Meatloaf

- 4 slices wheat bread shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro shopping list
- 6 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire shopping list
- 1/2 cup + 6 Tablespoons bottled chili sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp cumin shopping list
- 1-1/2 lbs. ground turkey shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- dash black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375.
- Tear bread into crumbs or use food processor.
- Combine onion, bell pepper, cilantro, and garlic.
- Stir in 1/2 cup chili sauce.
- Add the breadcrumbs and all remaining ingredients.
- Mix very well with your hands.
- Lightly spray a loaf pan. Press meat mixture into pan and flatten the top. Spread remaining chil sauce over the top (do not add more than recipe calls for - it overpowers everything else).
- Bake for 70-75 minutes.
- Allow meatloaf to stand for 20 minutes before serving.
