How to make it

  • Remove membrane from back side of ribs and cut rack in half
  • Mix the rub ingredients together
  • Rub the mixture thoruoghly onto the ribs, front and back
  • Place ribs in a ziplock or vacuum seal bag
  • Add can of beer to the bag and seal the bag tight
  • Let this sit in the fridge over night
  • When you are ready to cook the ribs, take them out of the fridge and let them set about 10 minutes
  • Meanwhile, cut up 3 toes of garlic and mix them into 1 to 1.5 cups of BBQ sauce
  • Add just a splash of water to the BBQ sauce to thin it out a little
  • Brush the BBQ mixture all over the ribs
  • Put ribs in 13x 9 baking dish along with the beer from the bag and cover with foil
  • Bake for 2.5 hours in a preheated 260 degree oven
  • Finish cooking them on a hot grill for about 10 mins., basting occasionally with the remaining BBQ sauce and garlic mixture
