No-bake Peanut Butter Energy Bars

- 1 Cup Organic or home made peanut butter (I prefer chunky) shopping list
- 1/4 to 1 Cup honey (I don't like it too sweet) shopping list
- 3 Cups Dry uncooked old-fashioned oatmeal shopping list
- Other ingredients to experiment with: shopping list
- sunflower seeds shopping list
- raisins shopping list
- dried cranberries shopping list
- Carob chips shopping list
How to make it
- Combine Peanut Butter and Honey in large non-stick bowl or pot.
- If too stiff to mix, heat gently (low heat) on stovetop or microwave
- Add Oatmeal and any other ingredient that sounds good
- Continue to mix until all ingredients are well combined
- Press into 9 X 9 inch pan and refrigerate
- When chilled, cut into 16 bars
- Wrap individual bars in waxed paper and store in plastic bags
- Refrigeration is not required once the bars have been cut and wrapped
