Turkish shortbread-flour biscuits –un kurabiyesi ..it is
a traditional Turkish recipe ..
this is my favourite sugar cookies- as shortbread .this is crumbly on the outside yet creamy in your mouth as u eat it.maybe like mexican wedding cookies ..... More

Ingredients
- 250 ml unsalted butter
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups floor
- ½ tbs baking powder
- İcing -1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Cream th powdered sugar and vanilla with butter.then add to floor first and baking powder slowley cream mixture.make sure everythings well mixed..make chestnut or walnut sized balls with your hands..put parchament paper on an oven tray an arrange them on it..
- Preheat to oven to 375 f and bake for about 25 minutes.
- İmmediatley sprinkle some powdered sugar on top with small strainer after u take them out of to oven..
- Maked 18-20 pieces

I just made these cookies for Christmas and they are out of this world and oh so easy!!! I pulsed the ingredients a few times in the food processor, spooned them out with a cookie scoop and voila..in the oven they went. The addition of the sprinkled sugar pretties them up but once you take a bite...oh my...talk about melt in your mouth! Thanks for this recipe..
