Slightly Sweet Cornbread

                    - 3/4 cup self-rising cornmeal shopping list
- 1 cup self-rising flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar (or 1/3 if using buttermilk) shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1-1/4 cup milk or buttermilk shopping list
- 1/4 cup oil, divided shopping list
How to make it 
                    - Heat oven to 400.
- Spray an 8" cast iron skillet or cake pan then pour in 2 T oil.
- In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add egg, remaining oil, and milk.
- If using cast iron skillet, heat pan briefly on stove burner before pouring in batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
