Spicy Chocolate Bars

so you want to try a little spicy cookie bar????... heres your chance ..........ready ......set.........bake.....LOL............. courtesy amish cooking.......
Ingredients
- 1 1/2- cups shortening shopping list
- 1 1/2- cups sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2- cups brown sugar shopping list
- 4- eggs shopping list
- 2-teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 4-cups flour.sifted shopping list
- 2- teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 4- teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1-teaspoon cloves shopping list
- 1- teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 2- cups semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- cream shortening and sugar until fluufy
- beat in eggs one at a time
- add vanilla
- blend in all the dry ingredients....mix until blended
- spread into-- 2.---ungreased 15 1/2 inch x 10 1/2 inch x1 inch baking sheets
- sprinkle chocolate chips over the dough before baking
- bake at 350 degrees f. for 20 minutes...........EASY..........
- cut into bars while warm....then cool........

- note from tink............for a softer cookie bar use less sugar........
