Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter,softened
  • 5 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Extra:
  • Egg,for brushing
  • Topping:
  • Almonds/peanuts/walnuts(chopped),desicated coconut,chocolate/muti-color sprinkles

Directions
  1. Sift flour and baking powder together.Keep aside.
  2. Beat butter in a large bowl until creamy.
  3. Beat in the condensed milk.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture into the butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
  5. Roll out on a lightly floured surface about 1/4 inch thick.Cut in favorite shapes.
  6. Brush the top of each cookie with lightly beaten egg,sprinke with nuts/sprinkles on top.
  7. Place on a greased baking tray,leaving little distance between each cookie.
  8. Bake at 170 C for about 12-14 minutes or when the top starts to turn golden.
  9. Remove and let it cool on wire racks.

Mmmmmmm butter cookies... and heres that condensed milk again.. i wonder if i made dulce de leche and then added it... yum!
