Harbor House Seafood Primavera Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 8 ounces sea scallops, rinsed and patted dry
  • 8 ounces crabmeat
  • 8 to 10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces lobster meat (I usually leave this out)
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta, cooked, drained and kept warm
  • 1 green bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced on a diagonal
  • 1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated or shredded

Directions
  1. In large skillet, melt butter.
  2. Add wine, ground black pepper, parsley and heavy cream.
  3. Bring to a "bubble"
  4. Add seafood and simmer 4 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Add vegetables and simmer until vegetables are tender-crisp or to your liking.
  6. Add parmesan and simer 2 minutes.
  7. Serve over pasta with a green salad and crusty bread.
