I love egg custard. My hubby's grandma used to make this just for me whenever there was a big holiday meal or if i was sick. I never have tried to make it though. This recipe sounds easy so i may just have to give it a try.

I was looking for the egg custard recipe online I've used for years online to email to someone. This is it exactly...in my old FBLA cookbook it is called "Franke's of Little Rock Egg Custard Pie." Franke's is a cafeteria...and they had the best egg custard pie. This one is always a big hit when I make it. The BEST EVER!

I haven't had a custard pie in ages - great memories of them, though. I will have to try this one...it's really one of those "comfort foods" you never forget!
