Grandma Cozy Dog Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • You can Broil in pot or fried in pan your hot dog
  • while they are cooking prepare your bread and put
  • your choice of mustard or mayo and spread them
  • on the bread, after the hot dogs are to your liking place
  • them on each bread with cheese of your choice
  • fold bread over the hot dogs and hold down and spread
  • butter on one side of the bread and place it on the hot pan
  • cook until that side is golden to dark crisp brown
  • turn it over and butter that side and do as you did the other
  • side after they are brown place them on plate!
  • have your choice of fries or chips and drinks and enjoy!

    I wrote this to Betty Boop so everyone could understand

    I just read your long ago post about my Grandma Cozy Dog
    That is a S.E.Mo and N.E.Arkansas name for this, i made sure
    her memory and the name of this never end
    she pass away at the age of 84 in 1984 (almost was 85 year old)
    i can still her her ask me *do you want a cozy dogs!?) and
    of course i never refuse, not even at age 27
    i think she called it that, because of the cheese and the way
    everything come together and stay after it cook!?
    i mean the cheese like a blanket in a way!

    thought you would like to know why she might have called it
    that!

    I do this but never heard of them called a Cozy Dog!! Too cute!.. an I love my Cozy Dog just like you recipe says... Great Post!!
