Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add yolks beating until light and fluffy
  • Blend in the flour
  • Roll dough into 1 inch balls
  • Dip in egg white and then into nuts.
  • Place on a cookie sheet
  • Make a depression in the center
  • Bake at 300F for about 20 minutes

    I don't know why they were named that either but they sound wonderful! Putting a thumbprint into the middle - you could even add a little raspberry jam!
