Chickpea and Pasta Soup

- 1 c. of cooked chickpeas shopping list
- 1 c. of cooked elbow macaroni shopping list
- 7 cloves of minced garlic shopping list
- 2 tbsp. of chopped fresh rosemary shopping list
- 2 c. of crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 2 c. of low fat, low sodium chicken broth shopping list
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil shopping list
- 7 cloves of minced garlic shopping list
How to make it
- First you pour some olive oil in a large pan over a medium flame.
- Saute the garlic for around 3 min.
- Now add in the rosemary, sauteeing for 2 min.
- Next you can add the tomatoes and simmer 15 min.
- Then you can add the broth and chickpeas, cooking over low for another 10 min.
- Add the cooked macaroni and allow to cook through for about 5 min.
- You can now add salt and pepper if needed.
- Ladle and serve!
