Ingredients
  • 1 c. of cooked chickpeas
  • 1 c. of cooked elbow macaroni
  • 7 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. of chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 c. of crushed tomatoes
  • 2 c. of low fat, low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 7 cloves of minced garlic

Directions
  1. First you pour some olive oil in a large pan over a medium flame.
  2. Saute the garlic for around 3 min.
  3. Now add in the rosemary, sauteeing for 2 min.
  4. Next you can add the tomatoes and simmer 15 min.
  5. Then you can add the broth and chickpeas, cooking over low for another 10 min.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and allow to cook through for about 5 min.
  7. You can now add salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Ladle and serve!
