Raspberry And Other Flavored Vinegars

- -Raspberry Vinegar- shopping list
- 2 to 2-1/2 cups fresh red raspberries, lightly mashed shopping list
- 2 cups red wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. honey or sugar shopping list
- -Blueberry Vinegar- shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups blueberries, lightly mashed shopping list
- 2 cups white wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. honey or sugar shopping list
- -peach Vinegar- shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups fresh, ripe peaches, peeled and lightly mashed shopping list
- 2 cups white wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. honey or sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Bring the sugar and vinegar to a boil and pour over the berries or fruit. Stir and cover.
- Cool to room temperature, pour into a sterile container and refrigerate for 30 days.
- To process, strain the liquid through a piece of cheesecloth into a large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour into hot sterilized jars or bottles, cover and seal.
- Make some pretty labels and tie on bottles or jars with ribbon or rafia.
- You might want to find some recipes using flavored vinegars to include with these little treasures when gifting.
