Creamy Mashed Potatoes Recipe
This is a great side dish for holidays or dinner parties. It is impressive and, oh, so delicious. The best part is all the work is done the day before. Just pop it in the oven before serving and its done!

Ingredients
  • 10 medium potatoes
  • 2-8oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 8 oz. grated Swiss cheese
  • Paprika

Directions
  1. Peel and quarter potatoes.
  2. Boil in salted water until tender.
  3. Drain and mash until smooth.
  4. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in potatoes until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Place in an 8x11 baking dish and dot with butter.
  7. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese and paprika.
  8. Refrigerate overnight.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes until lightly browned.
