- 3 LBS OF italian sausagE HOT-- SWEET-- OR MIXED, shopping list
- 3 TBSP OF butter , shopping list
- 2-1\2 TO 3 LBS OF SEEDLESS red grapes REMOVED FROM STEM'S, shopping list
- 4 TBSP OF balsamic vinegar. shopping list
How to make it
- DIRECTIONS---PREHEAT OVEN TO ---500 DEGREES.---
- 1)---PARBOIL THE SAUSAGE IN WATER IN A COVERED PAN FOR ABOUT 8 TO 10 MINS.
- 2)--MELT THE BUTTER IN A SMALL FLAMEPROOF ROASTING PAN, ADD THE GRAPES AND COAT WELL WITH THE BUTTER.
- 3)---WITH TONGS PUT THE SAUSAGE IN THE PAN OF GRAPES, PRESS THEM DOWN INTO GRAPES SO THEY WILL NOT BROWN TO FAST.
- 4)--ROAST IN THE OVEN UNTIL GRAPES ARE SOFT AND THE SAUSAGE HAS BROWNED, TURNING TO BROWN EVERY FEW MINS.(IN ABOUT 20 TO 30 MINS IT SHOULD BE DONE.)
- 5)---WITH A SLOTTED SPOON, TRANSFER THE SAUSAGE AND GRAPES TO A HEATED PLATTER.
- 6)---PLACE THE ROASTING PAN ON TOP OF THE STOVE, AND ON MED TO HIGH HEAT ADD THE BALSAMIC VINEGAR.--SCRAPE UP ANY BROWN BITS ON THE BOTTOM OF PAN,AND COOK UNTIL THE VINEGAR AND JUICES ARE REDUCE UNTIL THICK AND SYRUPY. IF IT DOEN'T GET THICK ADD SOME CORN STARCH WITH WATER ADD THE SAUSAGE AND GRAPES IN THE SYRUP -PUT ON TOP OF POLENTA OR MASH POTATOES
- SERVE WITH POLENTA OR MASHED POTATOE'S

Who couldn't love this greatness! Super combo John. Will definitely be making this when my grapes are ripe! They aren't seedless but for this - I will make them that way!
