Brookes Homemade Meatloaf

- Meatloaf : shopping list
- 2 pounds ground beef (not too lean) shopping list
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 3 tablespoons ketchup shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 slice white bread, torn into pieces shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- Glase: shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 teaspoons packed light brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350o F.In a large bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients; mix well.Press mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan.Bake for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients. After 30 minutes of baking.Brush some of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.Bake for 30 minutes more.Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.Turn meatloaf out onto serving platter and spoon remaining glaze over top.
- Makes 6 Servings
