Healthy Cornbread

- 1 cup Bob's Red Mill 100% Stone Ground cornmeal, medium grind shopping list
- 1 cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 4 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 10 inch iron skillet shopping list
- 3 tablespoons oil shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together the dry ingredients
- Add egg, milk, butter or margarine and stir until smooth
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- Heat oil in the skillet on top of the stove and pour the batter
- Put in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown
- Serve with margarine on the side
