Brooks Firehouse Chili

- 1lb ground beef(chuck works best) shopping list
- 1 med green bell pepper, diced shopping list
- 2 jalapeno peppers seeded and chopped fine shopping list
- 2 tsp cruched red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 med white or yellow onion, diced shopping list
- 14.5 oz can of petite diced tomatoes shopping list
- 46 oz can of tomato juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup chili powder or one package of chili seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp white sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt shopping list
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 cups elbow macarroni shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
How to make it
- Brown beef, peppers, onions, and red pepper flakes.
- Drain off grease and add in spices, salt, and diced tomatoes to the meat mixture cook for 5 mins
- In a large pot combine meat mixture with tomato juice, water, sugar, and macarroni
- Bring to a boil
- reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until noodles are tender.
