Ricotta Cheese Brownies Recipe
RICOTTA CHEESE BROWNIES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Adair Estate in Sulphur Springs, Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 package brownie mix

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 then line rectangular baking pan with foil and lightly grease foil.
  2. Beat ricotta cheese, sugar, cornstarch, eggs and vanilla with electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Prepare brownie mix according to package then spread 2/3 of brownie batter in prepared pan.
  4. Spread cheese mixture evenly over brownie batter.
  5. Drop remaining brownie batter by spoonfuls over cheese mixture.
  6. Cut through batter with knife several times to marbleize then bake 50 minutes.
  7. Cool completely then cut into squares just before serving.
