Lemon Nut Squares

These squares are for those of us who can't get enough lemon!
Ingredients
- Crust: shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup butter, cut into small pieces shopping list
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
How to make it
- Crust:
- Combine flour and sugar, add butter and blend to a coarse, crumbly stage.
- Add nuts and press into an ungreased 13"x9"x2" baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Topping:
- Beat all ingredients together until fluffy.
- Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.
- Cool before cutting.
- Can sprinkle with confectioner's sugar before serving.
