Otterpond got me thinking about an easier way to search for 'Made' recipes, instead of having to look through every recipe in this group! We need a way to catagorize and be able to pick out a certain kind of 'Made' recipe that we may want to try! So this is what I came up with...

I'm going to try to start a new member account that will just be used as an easier way to search for 'Made' recipes! I will list all the recipes from this group and other 'Made' recipes that I find on this site, to that account.

The account name will be 'REVIEWS'...and on the public page in the 'My Favs' section of that account, is where you will be able to find all the 'Made' recipes that I know of. It WILL NOT take the place of this group! We will still carry on in here as usual. Its just the only way I know of to be able to categorize and find a certain 'Made' recipe that you may be looking for, without having to look through every recipe in this group.

All you'll have to do to find a certain 'Made' recipe, is type the kind of recipe your looking for in the 'My Favs' toolbar of that new 'REVIEWS' account, and submit it...instantly, a list of those recipes will appear! Start at the top recipe and search downward, as the first recipe will be the one that most significantly matches whatever you type in the toolbar...then the ones that follow downward become least significant to what you typed.

Other members can also send recipes that have been tried and reviewed to that new 'REVIEWS' account. To do that you just have to be on the 'Friends' list of that account, then you can use the 'Tool Box' on the recipe that you want to have added to the list. In the 'Tool Box' there is an option to 'Send to a Friend'...just choose 'REVIEWS' as the friend to send it to. When it gets there I'll look to make sure it has been reviewed, then I'll add it to the 'My Favs' list of the 'REVIEWS' page.

This may be a big undertaking for me but I think it will make it sooo much easier to find a particular 'Made' recipe that you may be looking to try!

I'll let you all know when this new account is up and running!

I don't know if it would be possible to open another account, and, like you said, you won't be able to transfer recipes there. Good idea, though.

As for transfering recipes there...that can be done, its just time consuming. I just have to rate the recipe 4 or 5 forks and done...it'll be on the 'Favs' list on the new account page.

I'm going to try to make a new account right now! We'll see how it goes...

Got the "reviews" friend request...accepted and will try to look at it in more depth when I have time to sit still.

Still working on the kithcen (amazing how budgets - both monetary and time - can be blown to smithereens be one room).
Then my daughter called and said her friend bailed on hosting the babyshower and could I do it? Relatives from both sides, friends, and family friends - and then she says she wants a co-ed baby shower with grilled food....

So I have a deadline to finish not only my kitchen, but now my mudroom (they are connected), and hope grass grows in my yard by April 18.

Thanks for letting me vent ladies. I'm going to go to bed - tomorrow is painting the mudroom, planting grass seed, and digging up the neighbor's irises to plant in my yard.

Lillian, I thought the idea was good! Frankieanne is right, thanks for all of your hard work - we appreciate it!

Thank you Frankie! I'm glad you tried it! I wonder if it would work that quick if it had thousands of recipes on it? LOL! I hope we can find that out someday!

By the way...if anyone has any recipes that have been tried and reviewed, send them to the 'Reviews' page using the 'Forward to Friend' option on the recipes. I'll be happy to add it to the list! They can even be YOUR recipes!
