Another of Pat's chicken recipes

Just for fun, I searched Pat's recipes using the word "chicken." 589 recipes. That's a lot of chicken!
    Terriyaki Chicken Thighs
This is another good one. I made up the marinade and then ended up not being able to cook so the marinade waited in the refrigerator overnight to be added to the chicken. I skinned the chicken but then see the recipes says to place the chicken skin side down. I think I'd like to try this with the skin on, too. Lots of good flavor here!

Maybe the gist of the instruction was to broil with the bone side up first, so when flipped the meaty side will be up to accept the seeds.
I looked at this one just the other day but dismissed it because it didn't say how far away from the broiler to set the chicken AND my broiler is adjustable from 400 - 550F. Too much variable for me to mess this recipe up.

If it helps, pso: I broiled this on my top rack which is only 3.5" away from the broiler. I only have a "high" or "low" setting and my oven/broiler is natural gas. I used high and cooked them for 6 minutes meaty side up first, flipped and did 8 and then flipped again and did 2 minutes.
I just had one for lunch and this is really super good cold!
