Perfect and very easy! Not alot of butter. I made it with half the sugar and it was still very good!Check it out! I posted a photo!

This sure did make a lot of dirty dishes but one was definitely my fault as I didn't have an 8x8 pan, tried to use a 6x10 but that was not going to do it so ended up with a round 8 incher. The only change other than that was that I cubed the apples for easier serving and doubled the cinnamon (not the sugar) ‘cause we really like cinnamon.

This really was a bit, a tiny bit more cake-like than cobblers I am used to. In fact, it wasn’t as juicy either. I thought the crust tasted a bit like a crisp cookie (like a chocolate chip without the chocolate) and I loved it. Mr. Breezy said to file the recipe in the “Would Make Again” file and I whole heartedly agree. I so wanted seconds but my hand was slapped away.

I was too tired to try to get a better photo but it will do I guess. I did use two kinds of apples one of which was a Rome and you can see the pink flesh in some of the photos.

I think your pictures are great, too! I've never heard of a Jazz apple! I'll have to take a look. There sure are a lot of different kinds of apples nowadays!
