    Sorry forgot to rate this.
I give it 4 "forks" :-) because as good, really good as it is, it wasn't something that I would say is to die for.

This really was a bit, a tiny bit more cake-like than cobblers I am used to. In fact, it wasn't as juicy either. I thought the crust tasted a bit like a crisp cookie (like a chocolate chip without the chocolate) and I loved it.

Very nice, thank you for posting it. Mom originally made it with more tart cooking apples, probably Winesap or Macintosh so if you use sweeter apples, you don't need as much sugar. I'm glad you liked it.

I was suppose to make this tomorrow but I couldn't wait! So I made it today and I'm glad I did! I made it as written except I only used half the sugar. It was perfect! I only wish I had some ice cream to go with it because that would of been heavenly. The cake part is nice and fluffy with a thin browned top. I will definitely be making this again! I hope you like my pic!

I'm loving everything apples these days and this one sounds like a must try! I like it because its easy but it doesn't use cake mix! Not a ton of butter either!
