    Awesome Honey Wheat Bread
A really nice, fluffy loaf of bread that rose up pretty high. Just sweet enough to eat without butter although I forced myself to try a slice with butter as well.

I see you used your electric knife to slice the bread :P
Think I'll put this on tonight, hand made of course.

hehe I've found that my old bread knife does quite well on a cooled loaf. :)
I'm looking forward to seeing what you think, pso. Its quite nice.

Just observation. I see all the fine knife cuts spaced close together and all on the same plane. Looks like the knife cuts on the turkey breast when sliced with an electric knife.
Apparently I was wrong on this one. Frankieanne sawed this one to death trying to get a nice looking slice, after my last barb.

My result was dismal. No fault of the recipe. Went to add the honey and didn't have any. But instead of adding a little white sugar, I added molasses to sub for the honey. Going to have to make this again when I can get to the store for more supplies. Don't think I worked up enough gluten strands to hold the rise power.
It's tasty all right but on the dense side. And I threw in a quarter cup of rye flour to help with the fuller taste of molasses.

Sounds like you need to sit on Santa's lap, ml2c. :)
Get some honey, pso, and try this again! I sawed off a couple of slices for a sandwich today and its still really fluffy.

I made this a couple days ago. I did add a touch more honey. This was really good. Especially cold. The loaf only lasted til the next day. Thanks for the heads up. Gotta make it again. Added a pic
