Wow what a great bread. Will be making again trying one of the suggestions that the submitter made.

I used buttermilk but I had to make my own used 1 cup 2% milk and lemon juice.

NadineM, That is not buttermilk, it is clabbered milk. Buttermilk has a live bacterial culture. But in this instance your soured milk will work just fine.
