    Beef And Noodles

When I saw Karen_B review of this recipe I knew that it would be great with the leftover roast I had in the fridge. Boy is it ever good. Now I could not find the Kitchen Bouquet and yes I have seen it before in the stores I go to. LOL just not in stock right now. Used a little Bovril Beef. family loved it will be making again for sure.

I have never used Kitchen Bouquet, I'm sure it's just a mix of regular on hand seasonings though. Glad this worked out for you!

Hi Mommyluvs2cook I tried to find a sub for the Bouquet. Do you have a recipe of some kind that you use as a sub?

Love Kitchen Bouquet - use it in gravy, roasts, some soups, etc.

any browning sauce works- is is basically caramel and a stablizer:-)-- maggi is a good one- if it is not with the condiments- you can find one in the international aisle-- another good one is called gravy master- in a pinch you can use soy or worcherstershire- but cut back because there is more salt in these two:-)

Like nanny said Kitchen bouquet is a caramel browning sauce for gravies, and such. My mom rubbed her roast down with it then seasoned then seared and braised. YUM!!

I am sure that the Maggi brand would work as well.
