Beef & Bean Chili In A Crock Pot

YUM!! Doubled everything except the beans. Some of the "pinch of" stuff worried me a bit, but it all added a subtle sweetness too it, which was not over powering at all. Used the recommended diced tomatoes with green chilies, and used coconut sugar in place of the brown sugar. Served it with shredded cheese and chopped cilantro. Think the leftovers will go well with a little chopped avocado stirred in too. Everyone gave it 5 stars :)

That looks so delicious! What a gorgeous picture. I've been thinking about getting my crockpot out again, too. Its that time of year. Did you cook on low or high?

Thanks FA! I did it on low for 4 hours then high for the last 4. I have a new Crock Pot so I'm still figuring out how hot it cooks things. How I did it worked out good though :)

Wow, that looks so good:) What a great pic Michelle! I noticed the recipe called for canned beans, did they hold their shape well after cooking for so long?

Thank you Janet! Yes Marie the beans did hold their shape well. I think ground turkey would be great in this too :)
