Burrito Baked Wontons

    A recipe from Frankieanne Burrito Baked Wontons#

    These crunchy little wontons are packed with so much flavor (I might have added just a tad more chili powder:) ! Pretty easy to assemble as well..and baking is so much better & easier than deep frying:) I used ground turkey..cooked up a whole pound and adjusted the other ingredients accordingly..I do have some leftover meat mixture and some wontons..I noticed you said you froze some, did you bake them before freezing? Thanks for this crazy good recipe Frankieanne!

    I'm glad you like these, Marie. Yeah, most people would probably have to add more chili anything to one of my recipes. Especially Keni. :-D
    I put the ones I didn't bake on a cookie sheet and froze them so they would be all separated in the freezer bag. So - unbaked.

I still have some unused wrappers leftover, even after using 1 lb of meat for this recipe:) So these would be great to have in your freezer for a quick meal:)

And they certainly don't brown up like your pic! I think eggroll wrappers and wonton wrappers are the same material, just different shapes, and yet your Burrito wontons look lovely and crispy and brown! And it'd make great 'sports' appy's for the guys! And the fact that you can make them and freeze them to have on hand....well....that's just a bonus isn't it!
