This tasted like a yummy custard. Nice and easy pie. I will reduce the sugar next time, it was pretty sweet.

That looks like a really good pie! I love custard, so I would love this! So easy too!

I would like it to be not too sweet...so how much sugar should I use?

Lots of interesting desserts being shown here lately! I love it!!!

I don't know, I guesse it depends on your taste. The recipe called for 1 cup of sugar, I'll reduce it to a little less than 3/4 cup next time.

Just to be safe I'll cut it in half.

    Thanks Juels!

It's baked butter and sugar. Anyone with a sweet tooth will like this one, including my dearest mother.
She started objecting to it right away when I told her what I was going to bake.
Afterwards she liked it a lot.

Oh man, I am a sucker for buttermilk pie. My Grandma used to make one every Thanksgiving and I loved it. I have never attempted to make one myself though, not sure why! This looks amazing :)

I've never had buttermilk pie. I've never even heard of anyone making one around here. Sounds like it may be a bit regional. It certainly looks good. Lots of butter in that pie of yours, pso. :)
