Celery Soup

    I made Pointsevenout's
    Celery Soup
this afternoon. It was fantastic. It's one of those soups where you lick the spoon after ladling out the soup and any drips that may have occurred as well.
I used chicken stock (a combination of homemade and a box of Campbell's broth that I had on hand.) I used one and a half potatoes as I love potatoes and I used a big medium onion as I love onion too. I went with the dry noodle soup mix and some Provolone cheese that went fabulously with it. I was a little worried that the herb measurements were going to be too much as Points did mention you could halve them if you wished, but I went with his judgement and they were bang on.
The Dry noodle soup mix was probably the 'surprise' ingredient for me but sure works well with this recipe. It was delightful. My hat is off to you Points. Thanks for a great recipe!

Made this again today to knock down a chill in the air. It's still yummyliscious.

I TOTALLY second the Yummyliscious factor in this soup as you can see Lovebreezy! I make this soup every couple of months. It's a huge favourite of ours. Infact, I had some down in the freezer today and brought it up to send with my Husband for lunch. Was disappointed there was only enough for one as I was hoping to snag a little bowl myself. :)

It's starting to drizzle a little with winter spreading out before us. A perfect time for this soup again.
Used a blender stick on it this time as Chuckieb had done before. I like it either way, blended or rustic.
