Cheesy Fiesta Poblanos

    I know this was added to the group A LONG time ago when Lillian (I miss her :( ) made them but I'll remind everyone ;)

    I'm so glad I picked up poblano's a the store yesterday having no idea what to do with them....and came across this! Perfect. These are SO GOOD! I was only using 2 poblano's so I eyeballed the ingredients and came out with to much filling. Think I'll stuff some tomatoes with the rest tomorrow. Yummy! I used a blend of sharp cheddar and monterey jack cheeses. I served some fresh salsa and sour cream on top. Thanks JJM!!!

    Thanks Chuckie! I have had chile rellanos from resaurants( a fried poblano stuffed with cheese and maybe meat) a lot and I have gotten some REALLY spicy one's and one's that arent. Every one I have bought and used for my own cooking though are VERY mild. I guess it just depends....

    Frankieanne....I am kind of the same way with peppers. A) I'm not the huge-est vegetable fan and B) I'm not a really big pepper fan and C) I haven't had a lot of experience with hot peppers. But....that all being said, the recipe that actually made me more open to trying such ventures was Tina's

    I'd never made such a recipe before and when I made it and felt that gentle heat wave over......Oh my.....I was hooked.
    Based on ML2C gorgeous pic and review....I'd be open to giving this a whirl!

He's doing well and healing, but won't be home for a while. I let her know you had made her recipe and given it such a good review. : )
