Tons of flavor! I used an already prepared chicken rub and had to used dried basil. I cut the chicken stock down to 6 cups, but the orzo really does suck it up, so next time I'm sticking with 8. The colors in this soup are pretty! My 18 month old that hardly eats anything LOVED this!

That looks really delicious and easy! I was wondering about using 8 cups of stock, but I see you answered that one. :)

That soup really looks good ML2C. Really good. Im not real sure I know what orzo is. Ive never had it before. I assume its that pasta/rice looking stuff??

I see a lot of recipes call for fresh basil or parsley or other spices. If not using fresh do you still use the same amount?

Thanks Frankie! Yeah in the pic it still looks soup but by the time I was halfway done eating almost all the liquid was gone! For the leftovers I just added more chicken stock before reheating.

Mr. P yes the orzo is a small pasta on the pasta aisle usually a little off to the side. I usually don't measure anything spices wise but "they" say that you should use half the amount of dried to fresh. It's got a stronger flavor. Hope I helped ;)
